In this episode we read Lincoln's inauguration speech and discuss the mechanics of the event. Also my dog makes a lot of noise and both of us have a cold. Lincoln's speech is compared to King Davis's pathetic speech and we close on what those two speeches mean.

For this episode I read the confederate constitution. That was pretty miserable. Then lincoln takes a train ride to Washington City. Thats pretty great.

Episode 13 Georgia, Louisiana and Texas secede

In this episode we follow a wild story of the last of the 3 deep south states to secede. During this episode my dog makes an appearance and one or possibly both of us are sick. 

Episode 12 Alabama, Florida and Mississippi secede

In this episode we will read in its entirity Mississippi's declaration of secetion. Also my dog makes her opinions on the topic known and we talk about farming. I mean like really talk about farming

Congress attempts to negotiate a compromise between the north and the south. It fails. 

Episode 10 South Carolina Secedes

During this episode South Carolina will secede from the union. We will read the entire Declaration of Secession published as a defense and announcement of this action. The words of the traitors will speak for themselves.
