Episode 0: Some broad background

This is a broad background into the history of the USA. We take a global view of the pressures and anxieties that would plague this regional conflict and we begin to lay out the groundwork of how we get to the compromise of 1850. We also ramble about a bunch of stuff. Come give us a listen too.
